all you have to do -

Pull your wheel off
unbolt the 7-8 small bolts around the add hubs
pull off the washers
hammer gently on the lock washers, they'll pop out
gently pry the gold cover off
unbolt the gold bolt
pull the hub face off
put the manual hub body on
reinstall the gold bolt
grease the inside
install the manual hub face plate
check to see if your dials spin.

dont be worried about your CV joints not spinning right off the bat, you're now manual hubs and have to roll backwards to disengage the ADD.

So... the hubs were working great but now, my driver side CV joint wont stop moving. any ideas? the passenger side functions perfectly. turn the dial to lock, it goes into 4wd, turn it to free, it goes into 2wd. but now the driver side is giving me some hell. When I shift my truck in 4wd, it stops makings a binding noise. but when i pull it out of 4wd it continues... how can i get the CV joint to be stationary and function correctly?

Sounds like the hub isnt disengaging..
Pull the hub face off, you might have too much grease, causing the cog to not slide back towards the face..

yes i have pulled one of my rebuilt hubs apart twice because of an issue of NOT disengaging.

might wanna go ahead and make a spindle bushing lubricator tool WORKS LIKE A CHARM!!!!!!! and made a difference on my truck BIGTIME
