How much is this truck worth??

Hey well im new to the site, and new to toyotas. Also new to wheeling...
But im thinking about trading my car for this 85 toyota.
I was wondering how much do you think this guy has into it, and what should i ask him about it to make sure im not getting ripped off.
Thanks in Advanced.

"i have a 1985 toyota 4x4 sr5 model. the tuck has the fuel injected 22 re efi. it has 36 inch super swamper tsl sx tires in very good shape. the rear end has the v6 wide track with a spool and 4.11 gears. the front has a dertoit with 4.11 gears. the rear springs are 63 inch chevy leaves and the front is a hyprid spring pack wich performs and flexes very well. the body is in pretty good condition. it has a dove tail bed (looks very unique). it also has a mile marker 8000 pound winch inside a very stout winsh bumper. it also has a custom rear bumper. it comes with jvc stereo deck as well. the truck does awsome on and off road. it has been my daily driver and weekend warrior for over a year and has been very reliable"

How much would it cost to build a truck like this or how much do you think its worth.

Maybe 2-3k or so. Those mods he has arent all that complicated or expensive. And you cannot expect to recoup the costs of mods on resale. A lot of times you loose value.

V6 rear axle-$150 or so (I bet the spool is actually just welded)
36" swampers= $1000 or so brand new
detroit--$300
63" chevies- $100
winch- $300
bumpers- $500

Stock 4.11 gears and 36's will suck onroad and you will be slipping the clutch quite often offroad.

Check pirate4x4.com for rigs, there are usually some killer FULLY BUILT rigs for $5k or so.
