How much for a new windshield? 4Runner

I have a 2000 4Runner SR5 4X4, auto trans. last week on Monday night I was driving in some strange weather, foggy, raining lightly to raining so hard had to have wipers on high just to clear windshield, when a rock flies of a car hauler and nails my windshield. I heard the crack, but couldn't see anything, so I thought I had dodges another flying piece of debrie. On Tuesday morning, one week ago, I started my truck and went out to take off and along the bottom about where a stress point may be it had a crack about six inches from the bottom of the window up toward center and then made a hard left turn all the waswy over to the drivers side and has stopped along the "A" pillar arm. So how much should I be expecting to pay???? TJ

I think about $200-$300 for OEM replacement glass.

Call 3 or 4 places around town and see who has the best price.

Yeah, my deductible is $100 for my insurance (including glass)... I used to have full glass coverage in AZ w/ $0 deductible, I miss that

I end up replacing the windshield every spring due to multiple rock chips (freeways and gravel simply don't mix) - cost has been $230 Cdn which includes install.

Good luck;

James
