How much did you pay for your pickup?

the swap also cleans up the engine compartment and helps with throttle response too. i don't know whether it helps fuel mileage or not. i just recently did this and i'm moving also so the truck is loaded most of the time anyway so it's still a little early to tell.

1988 Toyota non-turbo 22RE (freshly rebuilt as of 90,000 miles ago), 4x4, short wheelbase. 5 speed.
no frame rust, typical bed rust for Ohio, small Cab rust. no engine bay rust at all.
$2500 cash.

Can't believe I have not contributed to this thread yet. I bought a 1990 Legacy for $600 and fixed the oil leaks and traded it straight across for my 88 pickup back in early 2010. And although it is not a pickup, I got my 3rd gen 4runner Limited at the end of last year for $6000
Pickup when I first got it

Right after I put new tires and wheels on around last year

How it looks now minus the new to me 33's I put on a few weeks ago.

94 Toyota Pickup purchased May 12 2012 for $4000. 22re 160000 original miles owned by an older guy. Stock as hell with and ugly topperbut a beautiful body and excellent interior except for an old Blaupunkt cd player. I did not even know they made blaupunkt anymore.

3k for 86 IFS with lift and 33s.
Had a 22r rebuilt 8k miles before I bought, 280k miles on clock, all paperwork confirmed, 33's on it with all tread looking very new. It had a lift that seems pretty professional and it's still pretty tight and drives straight. Tranny good so far and clutch seems fine. Had one year and it's been all utility so far landscaping, lending to friends. Only issue is once in awhile I get the 'click click' when I go to start but always goes fine once started, may clean the battery terminals off and see if this helps as it seems to happen when cold more so maybe too much resistance to starter motor from clutch relay (is that a real thing?)
Other issue is it just failed smog, apparently is running rich and i'm wondering if it's time to buy the Weber rebuild if I'm going to waste money on the mechanic trying to get it through smog.

1990 22r 4 speed 2wd reg cab bought it in 2010 had 200k on it and paid $700. Replaced one starter one fuel pump and other than some electrical probs I wouldent change a thing. Shes dented, scratched, squeeks, and I love it. My favorite thing is giveing a ride back to the road for the 7z1 drivers who "go mudden" and get stuck out in our back 40. I make em sit in the back and just giggle. Go Yota.

1991 Pickup, V6 5sp manual, manual hubs, 31 BFG's on alloys, light bar and 6 Hella's (removed bar before photo), only surface rust in a few places, no bondo at all, 247,000 miles, southern truck in Canada, which explains no rust. No mud in the frame. Needs about $200 in repairs to pass safety, runs and drives great.
$1200.
$1200.
