FREE........Sisters truck that she brought new in '88. Pulled me out of a few holes in the eighties. The truck sat in their driveway for 3 years before I took it away. 4,000 dollars later after replacing pretty much everything, it runs like new.

I payed $2,700 for my '94 with a 22re 5 speed extra cab about 8 months ago talked the guy down from $3,500. It had 230,000 miles on it with no rust but she'll be gettin some body work and paint in the near future. I'm pretty happy with it, around here it's next to impossible to find a 3rd gen pickup with 22re 5 speed and extra cab let alone touch one for any less than 3-4,000.

Anyone have a 3.0 that bought a new clutch, faceplate/ bearings for their truck recently? if so How much was it professionally done?

FREE! But we had to bring the truck from out of province, made the 1000 mile trip no problem but had to pay 1500 to "fix" it to get through the out of province inspection, rip off as nothing has changed and they didn't catch the important things, like brakes....

I paid $2250 in August 09 for my 1990 22RE DLX 4WD 5 speed with 95K miles. At 124K miles now and no major repairs besides a new clutch pretty much right after I bought it.

no rust to really speak of, it's clean for an east coast truck.

Anyway.

2500$ for an 86 SR5, 5 speed, 4x4, 4cyl, 160,000 on the ticker and EVERYTHING worked.

Day it came home.

A few days and a couple of mods later.
