I have a questions for all? With 305,000 miles on original motor and trans I just discovered water from the radiator in the transmission! Everyone telling me it needs rebuilt or replaced. My question, how much longer realistically can this motor last? Might not be worth putting the money into.

did my clutch go out

Hey I got a 2000 dodge neon non hydrolic clutch. Clutch was fine when I test drove it. Headed home my clutch started actin funny and all the sudden went to the floor and stcuk made a loud noise then a bunch of smoke. Car wouldn't move after that. Clutch came back out from floor. One buddy said clutch tore out and other said trany went out which caused clutch to go? Is either right

190,000 miles on my rig...

Bought it at around 140,000.. let me tell you, the last 50 have been pushing the little 22R to the limit and back.

Replaced rear diff, rebuilt the SFA, new clutch, rebuilt carb

92 Pickup with 3.0L TD. Truck body has done 294000 miles and the motor has done about 250000 miles. Still runs strong with no smoke and much better mileage and torque than a gasser.
