You would never know just by looking at it and driving it.

202k on my 91 Accord
Same thing, it is remarkable how well these cars hold together. Original clutch too.

Can anyone beat this?

Would you believe 4? That's right I picked up my new 2003 last night and just drove home from the dealer. Blue Mica/V8/17's/etc. One interesting thing - the lack of cladding (appearance package) did NOT show up on my sticker and the runner has no cladding. I think they saw the light and made no cladding standard in the middle of the model year. There were others without cladding and they had the option (and charge for it) on the sticker. It's my first Toyota and I have already learned a lot by reading tis forum. are there any others? I was very lucky and my locks and lights programed as per the manual on the 2nd try! I know I am gonna love this truck!

141k on my 95.5 sr5 v6 tacoma ext. cab 4x4. runs like new....since i just got done putting a complete engine in it 2 months ago from a donor 4runner with only 5,071mi. . since then ive put 229 trouble free miles on it. id have to say i was completely shocked when the original engine let go. i never had any trouble with it at all until i started it up to go to lunch one day, it stalled, so i turned it over again and it started but was missing. i wasnt sure what to think but had no idea at the time my #3 ring was hurt and headgasket was gone!!!thomason toyota here in portland oregon put a headgasket on it under recall back when it had 55k, i blame it them but they didnt want to pay for my new engine. absolutely nothing happened to cause this, i swear, it just let go for no reason (#3 too). this is the first time ive ever had to put an engine in any toyota truck thats been in the family (quite a few). no real power increase with the new engine compared to 140k, but i must admit it sure is sweet. jake
