How do I clean up some of the scratches.

So I've put about 15,000 miles on my runner and it's got some pinstriping. Not as much as others but more than most of the street mongers. I just want to clean it up a tad since it's not quite old enough to camoflauge yet.

I borrowed an orbital buffer and bought some Mother's brand scratch remover and wax. Now how do I go about it? I've been searching and can't find a good answer. Any help would be great.

What i did with some pretty bad sticker bush scratches was take some rubbing compound and go over everything with that until it was a little faint. Careful not to scrub the paint off though. Then i used a light turtle was polish and then just a coat of wax over it.

Work pretty good. I don't know if i would do it that way again, mainly i think i should have used a little higher quality products. Better wax mainly (not cleaner wax)

Be careful with the rubbing compound though if you decide to use it.
