Swear if Toyota sold good'ol made in Japan frames, I'd buy them...
Hell, if they went back to making 79-85's, I buy them!
I melted my clutch snow drifting my Hilux in a school parking lot about a week ago.
I snatched a loaded construction container truck hard enough to hit my head on the windshield... I could have gotten him out but he didn't know how to drive.
Damage to my truck? lol... what damage?

I'll tell ya what's even sadder... Show me a compact Ferd or Chebby that's still alive made an early 80's, heck even early 90's that still runs has as much aftermarket support and can 4 wheel like that.
Sure there might be some, but the owners have spent a fortune in time and money on them, but I still mostly see Toyota's.
Sad how frame rot, maintenance or a bad wreck kills them and not a thing else.

But I need a truck frame? The Made in USA Tacoma frames that are/were under recall were made by Dana manufacturing.
And the new Tacoma is made in Mexico.
Not sure what truck frames come from Japan anymore...

yeah, I'm a moron... I figured that out too late... I couldnt figure out where he was coming from and why that applied to me.
I just wish I could get a perfect frame for a truck I have... No 4Runner or FJ or whatever frame, applies to me. Not going to buy a 4Runner or FJ that still books for $10k for the frame for an 80's model Hilux cab.
EDIT: Tell ya how much I care for new Toyota's...
I'd rather buy a frame for @ three grand than buy a new POS from them. If I could go to the parts department and pick one out, that'd be sweet!
Don't care for new Toyota trucks anymore. Nothing over a 22RE for me...
