I searched and searched and couldn't find the info I needed. Basically, I have my 3VZE torn apart and was about to do the head gaskets and noticed these imperfections on the bead around the head gasket.
Its an Apex from Rockauto. Since I'm not 100% sure the functionality of the macro? seal, I wasn't sure how critical it was. I was hoping someone with knowledge of the functionality could give some advice. I know its a little hard to see with the plastic still on, but its just these two parts where it is missing or low.

Update: I didn't want to risk it, so I returned it. I will post again if the replacement appears to be the same.
