Good oil article.

I enjoyed this article and thought I'd share it. Hope its not a repost. I got me to change my choice of oil weight.

That was intense. I think I have been pumped full of misinformation all my life. A just put 5k on my new motor, so the break in period is over. I think, after reading this article, I am going to start using Mobil 1 0W-30. We'll see...

I read that article (or one very similar) a while back and switched from 10w-40 to 5w-40. 40 is better for a loose high mileage engine. I would run 0w-40 but it's $30-40/gal. comparted to Rotella T6 5w-40 for about $20/gal..

Wow...I think my brain melted halfway through that. That's a lot to absorb at work. Bookmarked for future reference and rereading. Isn't there a sticky oil thread around here? This should go in there...

Been hanging out here in Germany. Work is keeping me busy. I tried to not go through 4rnr withdrawl all I did was postpone it at best. My beast is in storage in California just awaiting my return.
