my buddy has a 85 extra cab stock, with a sweet flat bed, staight as a arrow.
The bad- sun roof leaks and has a blown head gasket.
The good- he only wants 5oo bucks for it.
would it be a good idea to buy it?
i wouldnt lift it maybe 2 more inches and 32s and just use it for a hunting rig. so what ya all think?

if you can do the work it sounds like a good buy. as long as everything else is in pretty good shape

 

$500 for an 85 with no motor wouldn't be a bad deal. I say take it!

 

cant really go wrong for 500 bucks and dont mind doing a engine rebuild
