fuel injectors?

fuel injectors?
so can i put an injector from a 88 22re in an 85 22re. the connectors slightly different shaped, well actually the whole injector is slightly different shaped but same for the most part. but neways if the flow rate is the same and it fits then it should work, right?

No, you can`t use injectors from an 88 in a 85, the plugs are different and the voltage requirements are a little different.
