call me ignorant... but i JUST noticed an FJ had 3 windshield wipers wiping while it was raining. i've got to say, that may be a deal killer for me when the FJ question comes up in the future...

not to mention an added expense in the maintenance department! UGH, who needs that!?

 

I dig my three wipers.
Two wipers would not cover the whole windshield.

I also only use stock Toyota blades which I have had great luck with.

Added expense?
Only a few dollars more for the extra one.

 

I believe when you're buying a vehicle this is very inconsequential to someone logical when you're weighing matters such as if to buy slightly used to save thousands.

just stating that i noticed this for the first time after drooling over them since their inception. i, too, noticed two wipers wouldn't do the trick...

that 6speed, rear locked setup is AMAZING...don't get me wrong. i'll just have to do a quick "rip-off-the-middle-wiper mod"

 

so because you don't like 3 windshield wipers you don't think you'd buy and FJ? Interesting concept you have there. That's like turning down a night with Jessica Alba because you found out she has a small scar on her back
