Ever tired of wrenching on your Toyota?

I remember when wrenching used to be fun! Anyone ever get tired of working on their Toy? Last week on my 94' Runner I changed the ...

Clutch and associated goodies
CV axles
Front brake pads and rotors
Power steering gearbox

I also added the following ...

BJ spacers
Aisin Manual hubs
1" Diff drop
LC coils out back
Pro Comp Panhard drop bracket
Extended brake line out back
Black Diamond shocks all the way around (yeah maybe not the greatest shock but at $15 each, new off e-bay it was a deal)

I am sore but it needed to be done, well some of it anyway.

Pics coming soon ...

I hear that, recently:

tires
ac tensioner pulley
alternator
front brake pads and rotors
clutch and "goodies"
cv boot (way more of a PITA than a whole cv, I will never waste my time doing that again)
fixed the ripped out license plate wires (of course it was done on a run at night) which killed my rear lights
shifter seat

Soon:
a steering rack is in the mail as I type...that should be fun.
replace exhaust
pull off my grill and power wash my radiator and do a coolant flush, I have been running very hot on the trails lately (running with the heater on in 70-80 degree weather sucks!)

I love doing mods but I am getting tired of repairs!!!

sure i've gotten tired of working on my project, since it was my dd for 2 years. finally bought my cherry '91 and i've felt my blood pressure come waaaay down . also kind of nice to have a heater on those chilly mornings.

i just spent 2 days doing the timing chain and a head gasket on the '91, hopefully the last major repair i'll have to do on it for a very long time.

as for the '79...

new engine buildup
new clutch
5 speed tranny swap
new rear brakes
blew up rear 3rd member
replaced bent axle shaft
rebuilt carburetor(junking for a weber i just rebuilt)
broke and replaced original cam
blew head gasket(damn warped head)
replaced head with built 20R head

much more to go, like rebuilding both axles complete and redoing the suspension, put my 4.88s in and buy some lockers, put the flat bed on and new tires and all, but it'll be nice to not have to have it running again the next day.
