I just want to confirm that the fuel pump brackets are different between 4runners and pickups.

I have a 4runner bracket and a pickup tank I was putting in my 2wd to 4wd conversion. The filter on the pump interferes with the tray built into the bottom of the gas tank.

Since the bracket only lines up one particular way, I'm assuming on a pickup bracket the filter points in the other direction?

Is this correct?


To answer my own question.

Yes it is correct. The pickup bracket has a bend in it where as the 4runner bracket is straight.
