Well i may have to get rid of my yota, I've a 99 4runner with missing bumper and grill and every time i turn around i have to replace or fix some thing weather it be a vac line or now a leaking front diff. I just dont have the time nor money to keep on doing the little necessary projects and being a firefighter i need a vehicle that is ready to go when necessary. it would also be nice to have something that likes to go a little faster. I really need a pickup so if any one knows anyone that would like to trade a reliable truck for a great moderately nice 99 runner that just needs a little work let me know. Or any thoughts or opinions are also welcome, i hate the thought of not having my yota I LOVE THAT TRUCK!

 

I find this kind of ironic coming from a guy that has: "build it, dont buy it" in his signature.

Maintaining vehicle is part of life. whether you do it, or pay someone to do it is all up to you. Why not benefit from the situation, and put gears/lockers for those "35s" you have planned while fixing the leak at the same time?

 

Unfortunately due to my current situation as much as i would love to tear into it and fix all the stuff i need to fix on it i just dont have the money or time or another ride to use while shes down.

I havent replaced the front bumper because i was going to build a custom off-road bumper for it but havent even had the time or cash for that yet.
