I'm hoping I can get some feedback that will help give me ideas here.

Here is a picture of the door panel in my 97 T100. As you can see the cloth part looks horrible. I have search and I am unable to find a door panel replacement in grey. I have talked to a local upholstery shop and they said they wouldn't want to deal with re-upholstering the cloth part because of the curves. I was thinking of trying LineX bedliner there but when I stopped by the shop yesterday he told me it wouldn't work because their liner sprays out hot and would make the plastic oily and the liner wouldn't stick. I've thought of maybe getting a soundshop to fiberglass that section like they mold speaker boxes but I'm afraid that both sides wouldn't turn out the same.

Anyone have any ideas?

 

Are there any bedliners that don't spray on hot?

I would try and find a new one at a wrecking yard, or find a new upholstry shop.

My 87 turbo doors look almost exactly like that.
When I got the car they were all brown and disgusting.
I went to home depot and picked myself up some carpet.
It was grey and came off this huge roll.
The carpet was like $7. I took off my door pannels and cut the carpet to fit.
I used spray adhesive to tack it on. They look great and are holding up well

 

id say try out yota yard and get newer panels and at autozone there a few kinds of bed liner that goes on cold

Since it just seems to be the arm rest area that is in sad shape, I'd suggest getting some vinyl or fabric in a similar grey to the plastic parts, or maybe black. cut a strip wide enough and long enough to cover the top of the arm rest, with just a little roll over the rounded edge.

Tuck the cut edges under, glue a thin layer of foam to the under side of the fabric, then glue the piece to the arm rest. This would make for a cheap and reasonably easy fix for the problem.
