I learned a long time ago to triple the estimated time I think it'll take me when my wife asks. Btw this also applies to bosses.

- when your wife gets mad because you spend more time with the truck than her, and she gets jealous(of A TRUCK), and you tell her you spend more time with the truck because it dosent complain, or get jealous...believe it or not this is true!!

 

Same thing applies with Girlfriends! PITA to deal with sometimes



Don't you hate it when you are working on your truck and somebody tells you your doing it wrong when you know your not!

 

YES...and i usually ask them to leave before I break my truck or them!! lol Of course...I do alot of stuff wrong too

This was a problem when I was a lot younger...

When you forget to loosen the lug nuts before you jack up the truck.

 

...when that washer or clip or nut that you really DONT want to loose falls from your fingertips, out of sight and then straight to the twilight zone never to be seen again... someone get ahold of Rod Serling

 

When you prepare for a big job and forget about all the small things that require more tools, parts, bolts & time and a few curse words now and then. Then as you start you realize you are missing the tool that with-out it you can't continue.

Or when your half way done on your engine and you realize your missing some parts and now your stranded unless you put your work back together only to have to take it all apart when you get back from buying a $2 part/tool.

 

Have too much beer and realize half way through that it'd probably be best to just walk away since you already made it 2x worse than it was to begin with

 

when you just get yourself in a comfy spot that you can reach see and work properly ......... and ill be damned if that ____ insert tool is JUST out of reach!!!

 

When Im working on vehicles at work and they are getting their first oil change. Not only are the filters from the factory tight as , but on fords they are usually right beside the cat converter and i burn myself.

The oil drain plug falls into the oil.

The ratchet doesn't have enough room to turn.

You're taking something off, forget a bolt - and spend 30 minutes wondering why it won't come loose.

 

That's funny!!!!! I bet there is more to his story than he was willing to share tho.
