When you prepare for a big job and forget about all the small things that require more tools, parts, bolts & time and a few curse words now and then. Then as you start you realize you are missing the tool that with-out it you can't continue.
Or when your half way done on your engine and you realize your missing some parts and now your stranded unless you put your work back together only to have to take it all apart when you get back from buying a $2 part/tool.

When Im working on vehicles at work and they are getting their first oil change. Not only are the filters from the factory tight as , but on fords they are usually right beside the cat converter and i burn myself.

The oil drain plug falls into the oil.
The ratchet doesn't have enough room to turn.
