How about when you buy a brand new alternator and then figure out that it was just the wire connnecting from the alternator to the battery that made your car die 20 miles from your house without starter cables and tools.
or when you do have alot of sockets and tools and none of them are the right size.

or when your battery is constantly being drained by an electrical problem in the car that you cant seem to find, and the only thing that will leave you stranded in a mobil parking lot is your battery dieing.

When you go to install a part your local Napa guys swears it is ,,, tear down the front end ,,,, go to install part and it is drastically smaller than it's supposed to be and then find out it is a OE part only and wait yet another day for the Stealership to get it in,,, the whole time your rig is mocking your mechanical ability and your manhood is being questioned.

When your buddy is taking care of your car while you're away and replaces the alternator thinking he fried it, not realizing how picky the clutch start is on toyotas.

Or when you drop one of those stupid little metal clips that hold on certain plugs like injectors or MAF? Who the crap invented those things?

When your friend is helping you replace spark plugs and tries to remove the boot by pulling the wire instead of the boot. Doh!! New set of wires too.

When you run out of beer and your only half done with what you were working on.

When you set out to do one thing and decide it would be much better if I get XYZ done while I am at it.

When that little U shaped clip that holds your window roller in place goes missing because you use a terrible way to attempt to get it back on, so instead of going on it flies across the room due to the built up tension, but it isn't one of those things that you can just leave without... thats awesome! I love looking behind benches!
