Dents And Battle Scars, Lets See'um
scars are tattoos with stories. in the off-road world dents are the scars and most have good stories behind them.
so post up lets hear the stories and see the scars.

Sorry, but this 4 Runner was dinged and dented before I got it by previous owner(s).
Front Bumper - pass. corner missing, no valance (did these come with valances like the pick ups?), crooked ands dinged

Pass. Fender - crinkled, hood is akilter (tweaked a little)

Rear Bumper - crooked and dented, tailgate too

Hope these pics show some damage. Rear bumper is off, except for a few brackets and minor things, and will be replaced by a used M/C tube unit with a 2" receiver.

Well here is my 2wd toyota tacoma off the road sidways down about 10ft or so from the road surface. the dirt roadtwas icy and ididnt see the ice becausethe sun was out.

well there was no damage except to the plastic bumper untill we started to pull it out. the hill was too steep or rather it was a cliff. and we could not pull from the front because the road wouldnt let us

that scar cost 400 bucks and took a new door, the fender i halfway fixed and thats it.
Another time I was parked in the High school parking lot and despite my lights being on and the sound of my horn some dumb bimbo backed into me and did this...

that cost her a new fender for me
that scar cost me nothing.

yeah the tree kinda saved my life but so did the soft shoulder. When I went off at first the truck sunk in the gravel so mutch it stoped me from going down another 100 yards or so, that would have hurt.

Sweet SOAZTim... how'd ya get that one?
I did this:

Lost some glass, some paint and some straight sheet metal (but the slider saved the doors and the mirror):

Then recently I lost a light:

I'll blame Westy for the light as he was in the general area spotting.

First dent last winter.... Slippery snow covered hill, slide into a small tree on the right side on one of several attempts. I have a new toyota fender that I could put on, but I was able to beat most of the dent out. The door also has a slight dent from it.

And after 5 minutes with a hammer...

And back in April I took this hefty dent while backing up... Didn't notice that I was backing up against a tree at the time

Pounded most of it out, but it was left pretty wrinkled.

Picked up a used bed that was in good shape, then bobbed 12 inches out of it.

And not even 2 weeks later I took it out on the trails and dented the new bed on both sides
It was far to tight of a trail for my truck, was with a group of jeeps and I was leading with the owner of the trails riding passenger with me. I did my best to avoid it, but with my long wheel base there was no way around it.

I managed to pop out most of the dents, but still have yet to take any recent pics.

Well, it really wasn't MY fault. Some other guy led me on a trail and I got it therefore it was really his fault. I figure others should always watch out for stupid things I may do and then stop me. I can't be held accountable after all. Can I? Naaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaah!

Mine arent all that impressive, but I'm hoping to add more once I get the V8 under the hood and hit the trails again
Both were encounters with trees. I have another where I hit a tree and dented my TJM bumper pretty good, but I cant find it
