Castor Angle 1982 Solid Axle

The question: With machined knuckle caps, can the castor be calculated based on the angle the cap sits? It seems completely logical to me, but I’ve never read this in any of the tech. That angle is 10 degrees on my truck. If true, I need to get at least a 6 degree pinion wedge.

I have converted the steering to hi steer with RUF.

I know there are lots of write ups on castor and the solid axle.

Yes, that is a reliable place the check the caster angle if the top and bottom surface of the high steer arm are parallel.
