what are some major telltale signs of burning coolant? just did a head job and im noticing alot of moisure in the exhaust. i can see clear water coming out of the tail pipe and i cant smell anything. but i see what i think is steam when i rev the engine and it looks kinda smoky. at first i though it was burning oil any comments?

 

is your radiator low on coolant?

 

Water out the tailpipe is normal. You will dump water out the exhaust (condensation) untill it heats up enough to turn it into a gas..

Unless the smoke is very white and smells like coolant..
