Which brakes are these? Need Help!

My brother jsut bought a 93 4Runner with a SAS. The left caliper is really tight on the rotor and we are not sure what model vehicle the rotor is from, we think it is an FJ60 or an FJ80. Does anyone know what is common for SASs when it comes to puttin the bigger brakes on it? Here is a pic of it for reference.

Those are the V6 IFS calipers...as they got the "fins" on them and probably FJ LC vented rotors as they have the 6 wheel stud holes and the 2 bolt holes for the SFA.

Sounds like the calipers need a rebuild or a full loaded replacement as when they are sticking it isn't a good sign.

you can go to the parts house and get 1990 fj80 rotors and they will work i got mine for $29 at napa. the calipers are refered to as "v6 calipers" but they also came on 4cyl 3rd gen trucks as well

Just tell the parts guys you need rotors from a 81 Land Cruiser and calipers from a 88 4Runner V6.

Hey everyone, I am the builder of this truck. The calipers are the stock ones that came on that 4runner, the rotors are FJ80 rotors (and only about 1 year and 15K miles old). I never had any problems with the brakes, is it sticking on the road or just hard to get off?

I had the same problem with my 88 4Runner V6 calipers. One side froze up, and then 6 months later the other side froze up. Replaced them with $40 calipers from autozone, so far so good 2 years later.
