If I remember right, when I was turning wrenches at a large dealership we charged 80 dollars an hour. Depending on what vehicle I was working on, the flat rate on a front brake job including turning the rotors on our lathe typically paid 1.5 hours. That's 120 dollars for labor + 80 dollars for pads and brake hardware.
I would say you shoul be looking at a little more than 200 bucks plus tax for just your front-end. For a brake job all the way around I would estimate you at 330 bucks give or take.

I would also guess more than your estimate for the rears. Most people can do the front brakes in their sleep in about 30 minutes given the right tools...the drums are a little more to them.

Whitey13: Why is it you would recommend not getting your rotors turned? As long as they can be machined down and stay within spec I see that your point of not turning them holds no merit. The 4runner's nominal thickness is around .866. I can machine down to .787. That leaves alot of available material that can safely be removed by properly using a lathe with carbide bits.
Might I also mention that many many Brand-New rotors from the discount auto stores have been warped right out of the box and will need turning anyhow. If you do have the shop put new rotors on make sure they USE OEM rotors.

X2 New rotors need to be turned. They lay on shelves stacked on one another and get tossed around, they warp during that.
If you do not have any pulsing in the pedal and get them turned ,you need to take them to someone you know so they can make one fast cut just enough to take off what needs to be taken off then one slow cut to clean it up.
If you drop them off to be turned shops today cut the hell out of them and take off way more than needed costing you in the future by buying new rotors. The less you cut on them, the more times they an be turned and the longer you can use them and not buy new ones

I don't buy discount rotors. Unless NAPA now sells Brembo.
