Benchseat identification and seatcover help

Well being that I have two children the racing buckets that were in my 86 4x4 just wouldnt cut it. Found a bench seat at the junkyard, brought it home. Now I cant figure out what seat covers fit it.The seat came out of a 87 2wd, the truck was tan but the seat is grey,so i figure it was not orginal to the truck. The seat looks like bucket seats accept that the bottom is a bench. It has a small fold down armrest that separates the driver and passenger. There is a thin piece of vinyl that fills in between the seats,if it was not there it would just be an opening between the seats .You would be able to see the back wall. The headrest are not molded into the back of the seat, they slide down into the back of the seat on 2 metal rods.It is grey cloth.Does anybody know what year truck these seats came from? They are yota seats they bolt right to the factory bolt holes. If I can figure out what year they are i may be able to find seat covers for them. Thanks for the help

I had my sister at her accessory shop try to find me some for my bench, most every company had discontinued such items and if you go with custom fitted(if they can even make them) you might as well pay to get it recovered. I payed 300 to get my seat redone if you find any company that will make a true fit they will cost you around that anyway.

I believe your talking a 60/40 bench which was an option on many trucks for many years hard to say exactly what it came out of.

1986 2wd truck with a Bench Seat want to switch to buckets

Hey Guys, new to yota-tech...I have a 1986 toyota truck with a bench seat. I want to convert it to buckets. I heard that Honda Accord buckets work nicely, my question is what year accord? Any info would be great thanks.

Have you tried the search function of the website? That should help you find something about the accord seats! Writing this in an old thread is the recipe to get flamed so remember to either search until you find your answer or start a new topic in the appropriate section...

P.S. Welcome to Yotatech!

Yeah, I tried the search function thanks. When I try to start a new thread, I don't have privileges. Thanks anyway.
