I have a 91 runner with an auto tranny that I bought a few months ago and when i drive on the freeway and get off an exit theres an odd, smell almost like a burning. I checked the tranny fluid and it looks fine. Also when i start up and first take off sometimes there's some hesitation and some slippage in the tranny. Does this mean its going out? Someone had mentioned so kind of hydraulic assist or something? Please help.
