if you notice in the video the torque converter is not locked up. that is the reason for the slugish shifts. Bet if the TC was locked up the shifts would have been a hell of alot crisper. I

If the "lag" is your main concern I agree that isn't a good video to watch. Within .01 seconds of when you press the button, the transmission begins to shift. At that point the line pressure determines how much the tranny "slips" as it shifts. In that video mine is totally factory, so it slips a fair bit making for smoother but slower shifts. With a little adjustment to the TV cable you can make much crisper, faster shifts, or especially with an aftermarket valvebody.

As for your shifting problem, I am much more familiar with the A340 in the Jeep applications which use a seperate TCU and sensors, but most shifting problems with those are traced to the TV cable beng out of adjustment or a faulty TPS. Just some thoughts for you.

Straight forward to swap

Solenoids for a340h

--------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Axiom Automotive Technologies, Inc.

solenoid kit: #97420K a340E/F & H

Very nice on the phone and quick to deliver.

It took me 3hrs to: drain the tranmission fluid, drop the pan, remove the "lower part" on the inside of the transmission, replace the 4 solenoids, put the "lower part" back on, put in a new filter, put the pan on, attach the transmission dip stick, fill with transmission fluid, and start up to check fluid leve.
