Question anyone installed curtains in a camper shell?

I just got a camper shell and want to install sliding curtains on the side windows and possibly a drop-down curtain for the rear window. If anyone has done this before I'd appreciate any tips on materials and/or installation technique. I've got carpeted interior and I don't want to drill any holes thru the fiberglass. Thanks in advance!

Are those nuts or rivets that are holding the window frame in place?

If it is a nut and bolt system, just make some brackets and attatch them to the top there.

do they make shower curtain rods that are as long as your topper? if so that might be a cheap and removable way of doing it

Long ago on a small station wagon I used screen door springs as 'stretchy curtain rods' (2 per side - top and bottom) attached to the window frames with self-tapping screws. With double-hemmed curtains (top and bottom) it worked well.

The bolts along the window frame aren't long enough to attach anything to, but I may experiment with velcro...we'll see. If anyone else has other ideas I'm open to them. Until then, I guess I'll email Martha Stewart and see what ideas she has

thanks guys

use the high-strength, high-temperature velcro that you can get at HD or radioshack. its very strong...maybe too strong if you dont secure it to the fabric and sides well enough. i used it to anchor down my sub to my husky liner in the rear of my 4runner and instead of coming apart, it just pulled the strips up off the liner. kinda defeated the purpose.

I like EnolaGaia's spring as curtain rod idea. Consider replacing the corner bolts with eyebolts. Then you can hook em up when you want and take em down when you don't in about 10 seconds.
