I'm actually about to start the Toyota program at Texas State Technical College. I'm also going to be taking fabrication classes pretty soon too.

Some of the best mechanics in the world dont have an ASE certificate, Like my self for instance. I dont think a book or school can make you the best tech, only true passion and love for what you do, just my two cents.

You're one of the best mechanics in the world!!!!!???? just kidding...
I know the "master tech" at the local dealership and he is doing VERY well for himself. Like many mechanics, he works on the side but with his side work he just brings the vehicles to the dealership to work on them and no one seems to care.
