Has it really gotten this bad or is this just a scam?

Yeah, if you see them around the $2-3k range, chances are, it's a scam.

That 3 series is most definantly a scam. I was a bit pissed about that 99 for sale for a sec cause it was really clean and it looked like a legit seller, meaning he knew how to spell

A 99 3rd gen black, looking clean and 85,887 miles for 3500? Nice palm trees in the background, I almost forgot it was the St. Louis CL.

And what does this mean???
"Delphic Oracle as a priest at the site. It has often been suggested that these vapors may have been hallucinogenic gase"

That's unpossible!

When you're the prince of Nigeria, you can afford to literally give away a 4Runner like that.

I think some of those $3000 figures may be down payments, but they just stick that in the price category.

Or scams, who knows.

These are scams guys, and old scams at that.

People still fall for these things? When you respond to the ads, they ask you to send the money for the truck in check, and then you will get the truck. Send check, money disappears, truck vanishes. Simple as that. Seems to be popular with Toyota, Lexus, and other high end cars. Good deals that are simply too good to be true.

They figure if 2500 people read each ad, one or two people will be dumb enough to fall for the scam and send them money. Multiply that by the thousands of ads they have, and theya re bound to make some cash.

I'd say "Well, DUH" but guess if people are still falling for it it's not so cut and dried, eh?
They tried to scam me using a rescue dog I was fostering. The letter requesting her was hilarious. Yeah on the misspells and goofy wording.
