I need a pic of the plug on the back of the alternator for a 98 4runner 5vz. The wires got ripped out and now I need to know which one goes in what location. I looked and the FSM and it looks like the white sense wire is closest to the battery terminal and yellow power is middle wire and red ignition wire is on the outside. I just need to confirm this before I short out the electrical system. Thanks!

Thanks for the pics, it gave me a starting point. I had a duh moment, I forgot I have the exact same 4runner my wife drives sitting out in the driveway to use as a reference.

 

Thats great YOU have another car to look at and weren't sharp enough to realize it first...but your just not that bright either because even your second post doesn't help anyone also looking for the same answer since you didn't bother to share with this what your findings were when you look at the other cars I can't look at this picture for some reason that was given to you to see... so I'm still just sitting here with my you know what out instead of plugging in two wires because I know where to put them in and then I get to go on with my life yea! So on with the search! Lol
