this might be a newb question, but oh well here goes.

got a 91 runner, 3slow, auto. definitely doing a motor swap. gonna stay auto, keep the wifey happy.

however, i desperately want to get rid of the a340h. been looking at jdm import motors and most come with an auto.

so my question is whats the cheapest way to stick a transfer on a 2wd a340?

ive read a few things, and i know of the inchworm adapter. i dont have to have the rf1a, anything will work, not a hardcore wheeler.

ive considered finding a a340f/v2fa combo, and swapping the back half on to the newer trans.

or getting the tacoma tailhousing and using the inchworm adapter there, but cheaps the name of the game.

any suggestions? thanks in advance
