90 for 83?

90 for 83?
Is a 90 pickup worth trading for a 83 pickup?
90:
Safari Snorkel
rancho rear shocks
rock crawling wheels
almost bald 33 12.50's
roll bar w/ fog lights
baja fox racing lights
22RE
83:
33 12.50 thornbirds
flat bed
IDK how much lift
tool box
I'm really looking to get rid of my IFS so is this the way to go?

I would say no.
The '83 is a carb, right?
Even though the '83 is a straight axle, you almost have to do as much work to the older trucks to bring the performance up as you would doing a SAS on the '90.
A SAS is much better than the older, stock straight axle setups.

I would follow Elvota's advice and keep what you got. Besides with either truck you are going to need a set of tires.
But realistically is is hard to say with out pictures of both trucks and more spec's

Thanks for the input. The old one has the wood flat bed, the cab is rhinolined, and has new bucket seats. its a little banged up but that is better to me. My truck is definitely worth more but i like the other one better. Plus I don't have the money for a SAS right now and im probably the most impacient person in history. Sorry i didn't put any pics up but I'll try to

An IFS trucks can go many, many, many places. EFI likes angles and steeps much better.
I'll assume your current vehicles is more reliable overall. Of course, I don't know that much about the two trucks. Top priority for a trail rig is going to be reliability. For that reason alone, I wouldn't swap.
All the best offroad enhancements combined won't do squat on the trail if your truck won't run.
