86 4runner Cake
Well, I finally got my 86 4Runner on the road yesterday and had a celebration. Here is a pic of the cake that my neighbor made for me http://i32.photobucket.com/albums/d2...nerCake004.jpg
What it needed to pass inspection:
1. Axle boots, but I changed the axles.
2. Front brakes & a caliper, so I changed both calipers, rotors, & pads.
3. Fix the spring in the steering wheel so the horn would ground and work.
4. A PNP Switch (Park Neutral Position Swith), which cost $260.00 at the dealership. The reverse lights wouldn't go on, and I could start the truck in Park, Drive, Reverse, and Neutral.
5. I also changed the wheel bearings while I was removing the 4xhubs.
6. Finally, the spring on the passenger side manual hub lock had broke, which I did not know, so I had to replace that too. I couldn't find just the spring so I had to goto the dealership and lay out around $100.00 for the manual hub lock/spring assembly.

Tastes Great
Yeah, it does taste great. It will take my wife and I a few days to finish it. Yes 4RocRunner, my neighbor is a female, but I am happily married.

"Yea, that pie gave us the runs. "
I apologize if I offended you or your wife....or the neighbor.

No Problem
4RocRunner92, you didn't offend me. It takes a lot to get me riled up 'cause I figure life is too short to get upset about little stuff. In fact I laughed at your post, but I was tired when I replied so I didn't want to try and write something funny and sound stupid. No offense at all.
