ok i was looking for a suzuki.. but now i may have found a 82 yota...

it has a 86 cab no box... i was wondering if one of my 4runner shells would fit on it??? do some of the body mounts line up???

just not that much room in a single cab and im so used to the comfy 4rnr

 

i don't think so, not without some fabricating. we did an 81 cab on an 84 frame and ran into some issues. we had to notch the frame and slightly narrow it. you may have better luck using a small body lift???

 

yea well apprently there is a 86 cab on a 82 frame.. im waiting for pics.. ill prolly just flat bed it i guess and deal with the 2 seater..
prolly still has more room than a suzuki

 

i'm not 100% sure on it but it seemed like the 84 frame we used was wider than the 82 truck cab mounts. we go thru alot of trucks and parts (beer), so i may be mistaken. actually what we did was use the main section of the 84 frame(under the cab) and connected it to the front (doghouse) of the 82 frame. we had to tweak the 84 frame in some because the piece was wider than the 82. hope it helps you some.
