5 tire rotation?

Anyone with a full size spare doing a 5 tire rotation with brand new tires? I would think that one tire will always be just a tiny bit bigger or is the difference in size insignificant?

Any suggestions would be great as I do want my new SSR's to last me as long as possible... I figured I would rotate before every trip (hopefully at least once a month if not more). Is that too much for a vehicle that will NOT be a daily driver? Should I even bother?

I guess rotating them once a month on a non-DD should do the trick then?

It says every 3-5000 miles, at about the same time you do your oil changes. This is what I think won't apply with swampers because from what I've read, they wear a lot quicker.

As long as it is done frequently enough to keep the diameter about the same, should be fine. You could always do a tread depth check and see when you start to see some measurable wear and go from there.
