4cyl spool in v6 diff?

Will a 4 cyl spool fit in a v6 diff? The trutracs and full lockers fit either or but when i look up spools there are two different spools for 4cyl and v6 diffs? Can you make it work with the right bearings or is it just not possible?

You cannot put a 4cyl carrier (locker, spool tru-trac,Detroit,etc..) into a V6 third. There are no bearings currently made for this conversion trust me I have researched it (If I am by some chance wrong PLEASE let me know I have been looking). You can however put a V6 carrier into a 4cyl third because they do make those bearings. If you wanted to have a few carrier bearing bushings machined from round stock you may be able to get it to work but aside from that us V6 guys are stuck with V6 specific carriers.

If a manufacturer would make the correct bearings I'm sure they would be a hit but so far no one has stepped up.
