4.0 quest?

4.0 quest?
So, the other night I was sitting on my fav. chair reading a mag. The article was on super charging the new Toy. motors. The article quoted TRD as listing the horse power gains in both the FJ cruiser and the new Taco's. The horse power gains were diff. Cruiser having more, which brings me to my quest. Does the FJ Cruiser and New Taco's have diff. 4.0's, or is it just attributed to the diff. in vehicle weight, axle gearing, or something else? They were both same tranny, same year, and didn't reflect a substantial amount of diff. in HP gains, but non-the-less a difference. So what gives, anybody know?? No need to get technical, just need a simple answer. Thanks!

It is the intake setup from what I have read in the past.
Only three ponies apart.

FJ Cruiser

239 hp @ 5200 rpm;
278 lb.-ft. @ 3700 rpm

Tacoma
4.0-liter DOHC EFI V6 with VVT-i
236 hp @ 5200 rpm
266 lb.-ft. @ 4000 rpm
