3VZE rebuilt heads - where to buy?

Hey folks! Looking for a recommendation!

I have a 3VZE in a 1993 dually pickup that is in need of some replacement heads.

There's lots of options online, so I was hoping someone could recommend me a good reliable place to buy rebuilt/remanufactured heads. Preferably complete and with cams.

Thanks in advance!

I have no answer for sourcing rebuilt heads, but I think you're on the right track in seeking genuine rebuilt Toyota castings.

The new aftermarket heads are relatively cheap, but you get what you pay for.

Your old heads are not rebuildable??

They potentially could be rebuilt, I just liked the idea of slapping on a new pair that are fresh and QC'd out the box.

So far I'm looking at these heads but I can't really tell if they're refurbs or aftermarket:

Everything in their ad appears to suggest that this places heads are rebuilt factory castings,

but you never know without examination of what they send you.

You might call and talk to them.

I had my factory heads locally rebuilt with valve grind and fly milling for about half what these guys are asking for their heads.

Do you know a shop that you trust??

In any case, don't assume that the valve clearances are all correct on whatever you get. Verify them yourself

Thanks for the advice! This is my first time doing anything like this so I appreciate it. I'll ask around and see if a shop in my area thinks they're worth rebuilding.

The head gasket(s) popped and one of the valve seats dropped. Allegedly the engine did not run for long after that happened, but I have not checked for warping or anything.
