2WD to 4WD conversion, brake question

I'm doing a 2wd to 4wd swap and something I thought was odd about this truck is it doesn't have an LSVP. Instead there is a valve below the the brake master cylinder : See picture.

Can I just use that or do I need to add in an aftermarket proportioning valve? I kinda don't see why I wold but ya never know.

I will be using a dual diaphragm brake booster and brake master cylinder from a 4runner.
