2l turbo install questions

well, actually, just one, but i'm having trouble tracking down a 2lt, but i've found a 2l, so i was just wondering how much is involved in putting a turbo on a 2l, or if anyone has done it thanks.

Hi,

just a word of caution: the 2L-TE engine has more water and oil galleries compared to the 2L engine. so if you add a turbo to a 2L, you'll need to be religious about the cooling system maintenance and if the tranny is a/t, you might like to add an external atf cooler instead of you using the stock atf cooler in the rad.

yeah, i had been looking around, and just happen to accidentially stumble apon an article, and it pretty much looks like a real chore to add a turbo to those 2l's. On that, i don't want a 2lte, i don't want to have to mess around with the ECU.
