261c warm idle rough ??

I have a 85 22re with a 261c engine builder cam. All is good except for warm idle it seems to be rather rough. Is this common for this cam? Other than the rough idle when warm the engine runs very well? Any suggestions or info would be appreciated. Thanks

Did you ever get an answer?
I just installed the same cam about 2 weeks ago, and have the same problem. Timing is correct and everything, yet my idle sits about 5-600RPM, kinda rough. Is that how yours is? If it is, maybe that's how they're supposed to be. Haha. I didn't think you would be able to hear that much of a lobe lift though withought having to change valves and what not.

>>>*Nature of the creature, 222 degrees duration. It is advertised at what we call a mild chattery idle at the stock 750 RPM, down around 600 or so it's going to be fairly sloppy..

Pick the idle speed up to around 850 and it's pretty mellow normally.

Sorry if I am slow responding, we have been very busy chasing inventory with all the mess in Japan.....*EB
