1st gen 4runner top on 2nd gen pickup?
I know you can put a 1st gen top on a 1st gen pickup but whats the difference between the 1st gen and 2nd gen pickup beds? are the 1st gens narrower?

Guess my question was more or less, if a 1st gen pickup can fit a 4runner top on it, whats the difference between the 1st gen pickup bed and the 2nd gens that would make the top not fit.
Went and took some measurements off of Wimpywades runner. Inside of the bed to the other side, my trucks about 4 inches wider than his, but my beds shorter in length. Nothing a bobbed bed and some widening of the top can't fix, lol.
