I love my mom. she went to Target today and got me one (all they had) while I was at school. the sticker on the console is a coincidence of where I decided to put the 4Toy.

2 walmarts, 2 targets, toys-r-us, and Fred Meyers later still no matchbox car... eBay may be the way to go for this.. Ive spent more than the shipping cost in gas driving around.

what happened to your factory roll bar?

i have 4 of these Nylint trucks. 3 are 4Runners like this, one of which is a darker red with black bumpers/grille and white wheels like you have. the others are chrome grille/bumpers/wheels.

i thought it pretty cool that they have essentially both DX (black trim) or SR5 (chrome trim) packages. the 4th is the exact same body, but it's a pickup version, like the one from Back to the Future: black w/ chrome light bar behind the cab.

the Runners are in various fair condition, one is also missing a roll bar, and another is missing the body side stickers. But the black pickup is new, strapped in original packaging.

i also have an R/C 86 SR5 Xtra cab in black. i'll have to post pics up some day.

toy Toys are fun!

the red one IS a Ford F150, mid '70s. this is probably the most famous truck of that body style:

if they marketed it as a Toyota, you been had.

good gravy! straight through the engine bay?

i don't think that lil' truck will have much compression anymore.

next time, i recommend drilling into the tailgate and screwing in an eyehook to put your ring on.

the eyehook could then also be useful for towing.

if you could find a way to swap the axles as well, you'd really have something there! haha
