What is a clean rust free 1St gen w/ hysteer kit, about 8" lift & new 35's worth?
I have been missing a 4x4 toy for a while & have the chance to get one just don't know what they are worth.

1st gen runner or pickup?

If you're talking pickup, they can be worth anywhere from $800 to 2 or 3000, depending on condition. Location makes a huge difference, too. In some places they just go for more money. Around here (montana), a '79-83 4x4 pickup will show up on craigslist in decent machanical condition, not too much rust, for anywhere from about $700 to $3000. I've heard of people getting them for much cheaper, and I've seen people pay more for really nice ones. I paid $1100 for mine knowing it needed a clutch & timing chain (although it turned out it needed a lot more than that..). Might have been too much but the guy wouldn't bargain, I wanted it, and figured I'd do the work myself so if that's all that had been wrong with it it would have only cost me an extra $3-400.

 

It is a 4 runner that is a southern truck and I'm in ohio.
The truck is pretty nice & pretty much rust free in all of the areas that normaly have rust. It has a small spot on the windshield post where the paint was chiped or scratched.
The truck has a semi fresh rebuild on the motor, clutch , has a header on it, new brakes, 35" bfg tires, brand new hysteer kit, nice interior w/ no rips in the seats, new fender flares, winch bumper & some other misc. stuff.
