˟ 1996 Tacoma AC Expansion Valve Differences

1996 Tacoma SR5 v6 4x4

I just replaced the Expansion Valve in my 1996 Tacoma SR5 v6 4x4. It is different from the old one.


(A) is the old part and (B) is the new part..
The new part is missing the copper sensing stem….
IS THIS OK TO USE the new (B) ?..

Did the part numbers match up as on the new part was the replacement for the original?

If so, I'd use it.

Thank you :wabbit2:…. I checked with several places and they all showed the new part as replacement. I guess I wanted a third or fourth confirmation. That is a LOT of trouble and expense if it ant right..
