YotaTech Ten Year Anniversary This May

I've got a line on a used msi 770t-c35 & phenom x4 3.2 ghz black quad core w/ 6gig ddr2 1066. It appears that it's 2 sticks of 2gig and two sticks of 1gig. Mine is already 4gig DDR2. (2x2) which in the end will give me 8gig. They want $100 for the set. Pretty sure I am taking them. And sell off this 2.8ghz dual core, motherboard and the 2 gig that will be left over. I should be able to get $40-50 or so for it. I just hope in the end that it will stay at dual channel. :crossing figures: Otherwise I will be stuck with 4 gig.

you know, you should have said something; I could have had something whipped up in a few minutes with my PC rig
I think it would take me longer to save the individual photos from my browser than it would to render the slide show
thanks for putting all the hours and work into this XXX! anxious to see what you come up with!

I'm back in the game. Upgraded to a quad core and 4 extra gig of memory. SO now working on a 3.2ghz quad core w/ 8 gig of ram.
And this isn't your everyday slide show.

The only thing I am not happy with this is the fact it's only roughly 5 1/2 minutes long. I have it done and it's final rendering. However, I didn't use any of the "parts flying" type photos and would like to go back and edit a scene in there with them as well after I release this one.
I just started final render. It's telling me right now 9 hours, which *should* be done when I get home. Hopefully it's encoded right and it plays correctly. Then it's onto Youtube. I hope I don't wind up with a 2 gig file to upload

That's ok, comp just blue screened on me. Have it back up an running for 4 minutes now and it's telling me 12 hours (which actually varies and not completely accurate depending on how fast it's rendering a given frame.)
Hope it doesn't blue screen while I am at work and not able to baby sit it. :crossingfingers:

Thanks Jerry, I needed that extra power. Instead of it taking 8-12 hours it only took 4.
