Nice job Corey!! I'm working on a clickable button to add to the footer for those using other browsers (for my site). I'll share it with you if/when I get it working...

Thanks Mike, is that a button like this?

PS,

Mike, I take it the pic will then be linked to that same code that Mark has I inputted here?

Clicking on it with IE will only show the giberish, and you would have to use that Sage plugin in order to click on it with FireFox right?

EDIT:

Missing pic is now hosted on my site, DSL Reports died where it was hosted.

Kickin'! Yeah, the test template works fine.

We'll get you to be a hacker yet Corey!

Thanks!

Umm, can't comment on IE, but with FF, when you click on the icon in the test template, you're taken to the "Add Live Bookmark" dialog which is where you wanna be.

The image isn't showing up for me, but basically it's a small formatted table with link (I got the "inspiration" from my Gallery software). Yes it would contain the same code.

The image is dead for now, www.dslreports.com is dead in the water right now where I got it from.
I can not even get to their forums.

They go down quite often, they have a crappy host I think.

PS...
Here is that GIF, I put it on my site.

So you would embed that pic, and have it linked to the same code from Mark or what?

Glad we got this going Mark.

I like that GIF better than the item I was planning. Mine just said RSS (without the Forum tag). Yes on linking to the code.

In IE6 you see the XML, but in IE7 clicking the icon in the toolbar gives you a drop down listing the available feeds, in this case, just one; "YotaTech - Recent Posts". Clicking that then opens a page rendering the feed in a readable format that looks like this;

Another cool way to manage and access your RSS feeds from anywhere is to use Google's Reader. It's not quite as developed as some readers, but is a cinch to set up. You don't have to know the RSS address... just search for what you want and Google will find it.

Hopefully before long Google will have a standalone reader that can be installed in Windows.
