It sure is a pain to find a local station with a compressor whenever we hit the asphalt again. That ARB would be sweet. (and no the dog does not ride up there)

Project taco

This is my 95 tacoma that I have been working on over the last several months, so far I have added a 92 FJ80 front axle with stock fj80 springs and shocks, dual T-cases and rad design triple sticks. I have a few days off for Christmas and I'm hoping to get all my body parts painted and put back on the truck so I can start working on other areas of the truck. I know you said no driveway pics but she hasn't got out much in the last few months.

1985 Toyota Pickup

Pictures were taken at Monkey Creek from a recent trip. Had a great time until lost a brake line going downhill.

I plan on getting ARB lockers and regear the axles to run my 35's on my truck and hopefully to get some bedliner to bedline the cab and fenders while I am at it.

I am hoping to get to snow wheeling some this month or the next month.

Thanks for this opportunity! Here I am working with TRAL, a volunteer group with the Tonto National Forest. We are reopening Trail 42, a historic trail northeast of Phoenix that has been closed due to fire for ten years.

"End of the Road South", taken of our camp in Tierra Del Fuego which is the southernmost tip of South America. A bittersweet moment for us after 669 days and 29,515 miles of driving and sleeping in the back of The 4Runner. We could have made there faster with fewer miles, but frankly we were having too much fun to rush it. In the photo my wife is talking over a map with a moto-traveler from Botswana who was trying to plan his journey North.

When I took this photo, we had no idea what our next move would be and we were trying to calculate if we had enough money left in our savings to ship our little home on wheels back to the US with us. Thankfully we made it work and this rig is still my daily driver.

For the holidays I'm currently working on it and trying to address some of the "quirks" that it's picked up over the years but it's still ready for adventure. We have a daughter now so I'm also redoing the interior to include a rear seat again and accommodate travel & camping for three (eventually 4 we hope some day). We might also squeeze in a drive to NJ from NC to visit family before the New Year.

Below is another photo taken near the Chilean border in SW Bolivia. Some of the most remote and exciting wheeling in the country.
Sud Lipez, Bolivia

Here is a shot from last fall just a little backroad cruise with the wife and I, on our way to a favorite spot.

Would love a chance to run that ARB dual pumper!
